Letters from the Frontline of Autism, Gaia Charis

A parent writes about her experiences of raising a child with autism in West Cork. These articles are a source of inspiration and support for parents going through similar experiences, and also provide an opportunity for us as professionals to reflect on our practice. In particular she focuses on the importance of connecting with the person with autism through looking at the world from their perspective, and respecting and responding to their needs.
